This research and analysis was done to make a point that most restaurants, even the best, are not doing as good a job as they think and can dramatically improve their seating and customer service.
However our experience has shown that restaurants will only improve their restaurant with this product if they are operationally and corporately aware that not implementing a seating assistance tool will be more detrimental than sticking to the old laminated map, scraps of paper and cards.
Additionally we have found that restaurant owners and investors once they are aware of the money being literally left at the table will take the necessary steps and incur the cost to remedy this situation.
Our hope is that by providing this information the reality of seating inefficiencies will become real and cause the market to open for this product. Currently it is only a trickle but every sale gets us closer to a potential flood of acceptance. Current users dont tell their competition for obvious reasons, so we have to. Most sales are from restaurant-owner-managers seeing the system in another restaurant.
