STEP 3 - Connect station wire to modular jack:

Mounting modular jack:
The modular jack should be located near the panel and out of normal reach, if possible, so that it cannot be unplugged accidentally or damaged.  A modular cord 6 feet long is supplied with each panel; however, it is desirable to mount the modular jack so that the modular cord can be shortened if possible.

A. Strip the outer jacket off the wire about 2 inches.

B. Strip the insulation off each wire about 1 inch.  Be careful not to nick the wire
  when stripping.

C. Connect the following wires from cable #1 to modular jack - RED wire:

   WHITE with BLUE, WHITE with ORANGE
   WHITE with GREEN, GREEN with WHITE
   WHITE with BROWN, BROWN with WHITE

D. Connect the following wires from cable #2 to modular jack - WHITE wire.

   WHITE with BLUE, WHITE with ORANGE
   WHITE with GREEN, GREEN with WHITE
   WHITE with BROWN, BROWN with WHITE

E. Connect BLUE with WHITE from cable #1 to modular jack - BLUE wire.

F. Connect ORANGE with WHITE from cable #1 to modular jack - GREEN wire

NOTE:  The YELLOW and BLACK wires on the modular jack have no connection.  The BLUE with WHITE and ORANGE with WHITE wires in cable #2 are not used.

STEP 4 - Repeat STEPS 3A through 3F for each station.


This completes wiring for the system.
