Guidelines for Reservations at Tea House “Kyō”
We cherish the pleasant atmosphere where guests gather around one large table, enjoying each other’s company while listening to the sound of rain. Please review the following guidelines before making a reservation.
◇ Photography inside the tea house Photography is permitted only of the tea utensils and sweets on your table. Please refrain from using flash or lights, as well as photographing other guests or staff.
◇ Allergies As we use seasonal ingredients, we cannot accommodate requests related to allergies, disliked ingredients, or dietary preferences such as vegetarianism or veganism.
◇ Cancellation policy Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reserved time, or arrivals more than 15 minutes late, will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
◇ A 10% service charge applies in addition to the food and beverage charges. Please note this in advance.
◇ Payments at the tea house are completely cashless. (All major credit cards and electronic payment methods accepted.) ◇ For tea ceremony reservations, payment must be made in advance.
◇ The Tea House “Kyō” is located at the back of the attached gallery. Please inform the front desk staff upon arrival.
◇ Entry for minors For safety reasons, children under school age are not permitted to enter. Children in elementary school or older may enter when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Like adults, each child must also order one course.
◇ For groups of 6 or more, seating arrangements or private booking options can be arranged. Please contact us via email in advance.
