From the moment a reservation is made, a special day for our guests begins.
Il Giorno operates on a fully reservation-based system.
Once a reservation is confirmed, we carefully plan an exclusive Omakase Course tailored just for that guest, selecting ingredients and preparing the meal with great care.
Whether reservations are made online or by phone, we always call the guest after confirmation to inquire about any allergies and the purpose of their visit—whether it’s for an anniversary, vacation, business entertainment, or a family celebration. Together as a couple, we discuss in detail the menu, wines, and drinks to ensure it becomes a truly memorable day for them.
Each morning, we visit the market to procure ingredients and wines crafted with dedication by producers from Hiroshima, across Japan, and around the world. We make purchases and preparations solely for that day’s guests.
We make it a point not to carry over any ingredients to the next day; everything is used entirely for our reserved guests.
Therefore, in the event of a cancellation after a reservation has been confirmed, we regretfully have to charge the following cancellation fees:
■ Regular operating days 100% of the course fee, starting 7 days prior to the reserved date ■ Christmas special period 100% of the course fee, effective immediately upon reservation confirmation
