A craftsman who has dedicated 25 years to caring for Wagyu cattle transforms all his experiences into a single, exquisite dish.

The star of our menu is the rare, purebred Tajima “Man’yo Beef.”
Alongside this, we offer other premium Wagyu breeds carefully selected from across Japan—including “Matsusaka Beef” and “Kobe Beef”—presented through the artistry of charcoal-grilling cuisine.

“Ushi Akari” is not merely a restaurant that highlights beef.
We incorporate abundant ingredients from the owner’s hometown, Fukui Prefecture, as well as seasonal “Kyoto vegetables.” It is through the harmonious blend of these diverse elements that the true flavor, aroma, texture, and lingering beauty of Wagyu are fully revealed.
