Food from farmers, natural wines and an earnest understanding that everything we serve is the product of many hands. Kōsa is a restaurant built on honest craft and ingredients with integrity.
Kōsa’s kitchen is led by Chef Katy Cole of Tokyo's beloved 20-seat bistro Locale. Intuitive, sensitive to season and inspired by the sublime ingredients selected from her deep network of Kansai producers, Chef Katy draws inspiration for our Californian Kyoto cuisine from the weekly harvest.
Our tables overlook a garden that shifts with the season — just like our farm-to-table menu.

Ace Hotel Kyoto, under the supervision of food essayist Sakiko Hirano, is launching a new proposal for portable afternoon tea, "Picnic Tea." Savory sandwiches, limited edition donuts, butter sandwiches, and original drinks made with ingredients from Kyoto are served in a tote bag designed by ancco. It is a new teatime experience that can be enjoyed casually anywhere, such as in the park or on a trip.
Whether it's in a hotel room, on a park bench, or in nature on a trip --
"Picnic Tea" is a new afternoon tea experience that allows you to create your own teatime anywhere, including the main dining room "KŌSA" on the 3rd floor of Ace Hotel Kyoto. We hope that it will become a "sweet presence" that gently accompanies your daily life and adds a little excitement.
[Savory Sandwich by Ace Hotel Kyoto]
The small, colorful sandwiches are packed with ingredients unique to Kyoto and seasonal vegetables, and come in a total of 8 varieties.
・Shibazuke egg salad
A rich egg salad made with Kyoto's traditional pickles, "shibazuke," and eggs from free-range chickens.
・Yellowtail and lime
Fragmented, savory grilled yellowtail with the refreshing aroma of fresh lime.

Ace Hotel Kyoto, under the supervision of food essayist Sakiko Hirano, is launching a new proposal for portable afternoon tea, "Picnic Tea." Savory sandwiches, limited edition donuts, butter sandwiches, and original drinks made with ingredients from Kyoto are served in a tote bag designed by ancco. It is a new teatime experience that can be enjoyed casually anywhere, such as in the park or on a trip.

"Picnic Tea" is a new afternoon tea experience that allows you to create your own teatime anywhere, including the main dining room "KŌSA" on the 3rd floor of Ace Hotel Kyoto. We hope that it will become a "sweet presence" that gently accompanies your daily life and adds a little excitement.
