Kawabun is a long-established restaurant that has been in business since the Edo period. Founded as a fishmonger, Kawabun's discerning eye led to its expansion into a restaurant. It has the longest history in Nagoya, and since the Meiji period it has been a favorite of prime minHirobumi Ito and Shigeru Yoshida. Its banquet and conference plans offer kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal ingredients.
