- About Kawaei's Eel -
Our restaurant is committed to using domestically sourced eel, primarily high-quality eel from Aichi Prefecture. We are one of the few restaurants in the Kanto region to use a method called "namamushi," in which the filleted eel is steamed raw rather than bisque-grilled. This method preserves the eel's flavor and creates a soft texture.

In addition, we use the hone-kasumi shadow-making method (creating countless tiny holes in the surface of the eel) to further enhance the eel's deliciousness and ease of eating for well-bred, fatty "blue eels."

- About Reservations -
● All seats are non-smoking and have a two-hour limit. (Reservations made after 8:30 PM have a 9:30 PM last call and close at 10:00 PM.)
● Your reservation will be valid for two hours from the time of your reservation.
*Please note that due to our two-shift system, your reservation time will be shortened if you arrive later than your reservation time.
● We ask that each person order one serving of eel. Other dishes can be ordered when you arrive.
● We have tables on the first floor and tatami rooms on the second floor. For guests with mobility issues who prefer the first floor, please indicate this in the request field.
● We may not be able to accommodate your seating request.
● If you would like a course meal, we can reserve the seat for you in advance. Please be sure to call us to confirm the course contents.
● For reservations of 8 or more people, we will only offer the course meal.
*Phone calls may be difficult during business hours (11:30 AM - 2:00 PM / 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

- About Visiting -
● Please strictly adhere to your reservation time.
● If we are unable to contact you within 15 minutes of your reservation time, we may be forced to cancel your reservation. Please be sure to contact us if you are going to be late.
