This afternoon tea offers a wonderful opportunity for customers to enjoy a seasonal strawberry menu, gorgeously arranged on a set while relaxing in the elegant atmosphere of the hotel’s lounge.

All items on the menu, ranging from sweet to savory dishes, utilize a variety of carefully selected ingredients and richly flavored strawberries, which includes Kotoka strawberries – locally grown in Nara Prefecture.

This Special Afternoon Tea set, limited to 9 groups per day, will be served on a special Griffin-inspired 3-tier stand with a welcome drink of sparkling wine (non-alcoholic alternatives are also available) garnished with Kotoka strawberries.

Flying Stag Light Lunch Vegetable and JW Garden herb sandwich with French fries
Light lunch menu is now available at the Flying Stag lounge bar.
The "Vegetable and JW Garden Herb Sandwich" was created using only plant-based ingredients in response to requests from guests.
Healthy ingredients such as soy bolognese, carrot rapé marinated in Nara's persimmon vinegar and avocado are sandwiched together on savory toasted whole wheat bread. The butter is soy butter, and the cheese has been carefully selected to be vegetable-based as well. The generous portion size will satisfy even the hungriest of palates.

Light lunch menu is now available at the Flying Stag lounge bar.
The "Yamato Nara Chicken Basket" is JW's spicy take on "Chicken Tatsuta-age", which is said to derive its name from the Tatsuta River that flows through the northwestern part of Nara. The batter is crispy and the meat is soft and juicy.
