Blissful Melon Afternoon Tea
Titled “Blissful Melon Afternoon Tea,” the offering showcases this exquisite fruit in a variety of
elegant sweet and savory creations, inviting guests to delight in a refined moment of early summer
indulgence.
Presented in a halved, ripe melon brimming with freshness and depth, this indulgent bowl is artfully
composed with an array of house-made melon desserts, offering a multi-sensory experience of
sight, flavor, and texture. From airy shortcake with a delicate melt-in-the-mouth finish to finely
layered mille-feuille, each element expresses the unique character of melon through a variety of
styles. Complementing these are refined accents such as blancmange made with Kahokugata
milk, tonka bean–infused vanilla ice cream, mascarpone chiboust, and jasmine cheesecake—
each thoughtfully designed to enhance the natural sweetness of the fruit.
Coconut guimauve, macarons, Champagne gelée, and scoops of fresh melon are also arranged
throughout, inviting guests to experience the composition much like a parfait. Generously featuring
half a melon, the experience remains light and elegant through to the final bite.
On the savory side, the selection includes classic prosciutto and melon, a refreshing red melon
ceviche, and a playful burger featuring spicy chicken nestled in a signature melon pan from
Kanazawa’s Notohibakara Bakery. Alongside the pure expression of melon, guests are
encouraged to explore these unexpected pairings.
This early summer offering brings together the vibrant sweetness of fresh fruit, a lingering finish,
diverse ingredients, and a sense of culinary playfulness—harmonizing into a refined and
memorable experience not to be missed.【Menu】
