Miyo, a Japanese restaurant set in the historic Kyorai-an in Kita-Kamakura. Surrounded by temples and a moss garden, it offers seasonal cuisine rooted in local terroir. Chef Ugo Perret-Gallix expresses refined Japanese aesthetics through each dish.

Nestled amidst the sea and mountains of Kamakura,
we create our dishes by carefully selecting the ingredients we encounter each day.

Based on the respect for Japanese cuisine learned during our training in Kyoto,
we value listening to the voice of the ingredients and bringing out their essence.

This is the cuisine expressed in Kamakura by a chef born in France and captivated by Japanese cuisine.

Please enjoy our omakase course of approximately 8-10 dishes, composed of seasonal ingredients.

At our restaurant, we offer pairings (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) with your meal.

For alcoholic pairings, we offer a selection of sake and wine, carefully chosen to complement the delicate flavors of our Japanese cuisine.

For non-alcoholic pairings, in addition to homemade mocktails and teas, we also incorporate herbs grown by the chef in his garden, creating combinations that harmonize beautifully with the dishes.
