One of the best-established restaurants in Kyoto in regards to Kyoto-style cuisine, you can feel the ancient city in a calm atmosphere. Signature dishes include cooked root vegetables with crab bean paste, soft-shelled turtle hot pot, and crab and dried mullet roe sashimi in the shape of persimmons. They offer soy flour kuzumochi for sweets, which go well with their original mellow sake, Kumahiko.
