To commemorate the inscription of “The Asuka–Fujiwara Palace Sites” as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, JW Marriott Hotel Nara will host a limited-time celebration throughout the entire property from Saturday, August 1 to Saturday, October 31, 2026.
In honor of this historic recognition, our all-day dining restaurant, Silk Road Dining, will offer a special menu inspired by the culinary traditions passed down since the Asuka period.

The interplay of aromatic spices and the pristine acidity unique to Southeast Asian cuisine unfolds with a richer, more dramatic presence befitting the evening table. The season’s signature dish, the chilled capellini, features noodles gently enveloped in a cumin‑ and chili‑scented spicy sauce, complemented by a tomato base brightened with lime and fish sauce. A final flourish of tropical fruits adds a touch of nocturnal resort elegance, resulting in a dish that captures the essence of summer luxury in a single, captivating plate.
