Perfect as a souvenir - Tan-Tora's specialty, "Seared Mackerel Sushi"

Each mackerel, raised in the waters off Maizuru, is carefully prepared.
The quality of the flesh is carefully assessed, and then seasoned with salt and vinegar to lock in just the right amount of flavor, creating "Tantora's Marinated Saba."

The vinegared rice is paired with a special blend of vinegars prepared in-house.
The refined acidity is subtly accented by the aroma and texture of Kyoto-style "shibazuke" pickled vegetables.
With each bite, the rich flavor of the mackerel and the aroma of the vinegared rice are pleasantly layered.

To finish, the skin is seared over binchotan charcoal, and then topped with white kelp, creating "special mackerel sushi" with the aroma of charcoal and the umami of kelp.

"Not just any mackerel sushi"
This is a luxurious delicacy, meticulously prepared by Tantora's artisans.
