Presented exclusively for one month during the two micro-season of Shunbun and Seimei, this Sakura Afternoon Tea celebrates the fleeting beauty of the Japanese spring.
A selection of traditional wagashi such as sakura mochi and delicate seasonal namagashi expresses the refinement of the season, while savory creations including sakura chirashi sushi and a sakura tsukune sandwich offer a harmonious balance of flavor and texture. Each element is thoughtfully composed to evoke the elegance and subtlety of cherry blossom time.
Our signature rice-flour scones are baked to a satisfyingly soft and chewy texture and presented in two varieties: White Miso and Matcha & White Chocolate. They are accompanied by house-made amazake cream and strawberry-sakura jam, incorporating traditional Japanese fermented ingredients in a gentle, nourishing way.
