“Kyoto Terroir Feast”: A gastronomic lunch featuring Kyoto’s local producers
~The allure of venison from Kamiyonoya on the Tango Peninsula~
“Kyoto Terroir Feast” offers guests the opportunity to savor French cuisine crafted by Dominique Bouchet Kyoto, using ingredients nurtured by Kyoto’s unique environment. For the first event, we are pleased to host a special seminar with Ai Oyama, who runs “Kamiyonoya Meat Shop” while living in harmony with nature in the village of Kamiyonoya at the northernmost tip of Kyoto Prefecture on the Tango Peninsula. She will share insights into life and daily activities in Kamiyonoya, as well as the many virtues of venison. Following the seminar, a special menu featuring venison from “Kamiyonoya Meat Shop” will be served. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience where you can truly appreciate the region’s environment and culture through food.
