≪With admission ticket≫ Abeno Harukas Art Museum “Andrew Wyeth Exhibition” – Cake set[Exhibition Overview]
Andrew Wyeth (1917–2009) depicted the landscapes and people of America through realism infused with deep spirituality. This is the first large-scale touring exhibition of his works in Japan in 17 years, focusing on the expressions that symbolize “boundaries” such as windows and doors, which appear frequently in his paintings. Wyeth’s paintings, which connect various “boundaries” such as inside and outside, self and others, life and death, offer a quiet hope in an era marked by increasing divisions in the world.
