[Tea offering at Kodaiji Gekshin-in, a temple not open to the public]
Gekshin-in has never suffered a fire in the 400 years since its establishment, and although it has undergone repairs, it still retains its original appearance. Normally closed to the public, the main hall where the tea offering takes place and the lush garden offer a view of the Hokanji Yasaka Pagoda, known as the "Five-Story Pagoda."

*Tea offerings will be held in a tatami room, but chairs can be provided, so please let us know in advance if you require one.

[A one-night-only special dinner to celebrate abundance]
The harvest moon is also known as the "Imo Meigetsu," and was a festival to pray for and give thanks for the abundance of autumn.
Enjoy this one-day-only course that incorporates plenty of autumn flavors.

The Hokanji five-story pagoda is a short walk from Akagane Resort.
If you let us know when you leave, our staff will help you take photos with your smartphone.

17:15～ After checking in at Akagane Resort Kyoto Higashiyama 1925, move to Kodaiji Gesshin-in
17:30～ Tea presentation at the main hall (approximately 30 minutes)
18:15～ Return to Akagane Resort Kyoto Higashiyama 1925 and eat
