This evening offers a rare opportunity to explore the connection between whisky and craftsmanship, following the path captured in his book.
Join a book talk and tasting with Dave Broom, hosted by Tomo Yoshizawa, a cultural translator specialising in Japanese craft and contributor of the book’s foreword. Each guest will receive a copy of the newly reissued edition.
Inspired by a cup of Ichiro’s Malt served to Dave in a soba restaurant in Chichibu, a curated selection of handcrafted vessels will accompany the tasting, inviting a full sensory exploration of the Japanese aesthetic of shibui through direct engagement with craftsmanship.
