<Galette des Rois>
Galette des Rois is a traditional French pastry, cut into pieces and enjoyed with family and close friends on Epiphany (January 6th).
Each galette contains a single small ceramic charm called a "fève" embedded in the dough.
Whoever finds it is said to wear a crown, receive a blessing, and enjoy good fortune for the year. The traditional playful spirit of becoming "king" or "queen" for the day is still alive and well, creating a joyous moment as people pray for happiness in the coming year.
