Nanzenji Hyotei is a Japanese restaurant founded 450 years ago. We have four teahouses, including the original building from when we first opened. The shoji screens, sliding doors, and Juraku walls have been repeatedly repaired, and you can enjoy the history of the rooms. As such, there is a risk of damage, so please handle the shoji screens and sliding doors with care and the Juraku walls. In addition, teahouses value the light coming in through the windows, and require a dim, not too bright, lighting that is in line with our facility. The ceilings are low, about 6 shaku (less than 180 cm), and you may bump your head, so please be careful. Please understand the above before making a reservation.
