A 10-seat tatami-counter tea house in Kyoto Gojo. Since 1945, we have served Uji matcha and other Japanese teas, seasonal sweets, shaved ice, and a traditional lunch set. Enjoy a quiet moment surrounded by thoughtful tableware and design.

Matcha Mont Blanc with Roasted Chestnuts & Pie – with Drink

A delicate matcha Mont Blanc made with fragrant roasted chestnuts and Uji matcha, piped into fine strands approximately 1 mm thick. Inside are layers of chestnut pie filled with matcha bean paste, house-made matcha tiramisu, fluffy matcha espuma, matcha sponge cake, and kanoko sweet red beans. The sweetness of roasted chestnuts, aroma of Uji matcha, crisp chestnut pie, smooth tiramisu and espuma, and lightly salted crumble come together in every spoonful. Served with thick Uji matcha on the side. Enjoy it as it is at first, then gradually pour the matcha over it for a deeper aroma, gentle bitterness, and a second expression of flavor.
