Located in the castle town of Tamba-Sasayama, the historic Ryokan Kinmata—once visited by Katsura Kogorō himself—is said to be the birthplace of Botan Nabe, where wild boar meat was first stewed in miso.
Take your time to enjoy the blessings of Tamba-Sasayama and the nostalgic atmosphere of the castle town.

A new botan nabe course has been added to the lineup at this inn, where the history of botan nabe is still alive. Introducing a new botan nabe where you can enjoy healthy lean meat and top-quality loin meat in a half-and-half arrangement. The course includes three seasonal appetizers, plenty of lean meat and top-quality loin meat, plenty of local vegetables from Tanba Sasayama, a botan bowl that can only be tasted at our inn, and a seasonal handmade dessert. This is the perfect course for those who want to enjoy two different types of meat. In its 400-year history, it is a ryokan that has hosted Meiji statesman Takayoshi Kido and Prince Hirohito in 1979. Please enjoy the botan nabe made by Chikamata, which can only be enjoyed here, while touching on the history of great men of the past.

近又一番人気の最上級ロース肉ぼたん鍋と天然熊肉、天然雉肉3つのジビエ料理をご堪能頂けるコース。
天然雉肉は炭火で焼き上げ中はジューシー、外はパリッと仕上げております。特製味噌や柚子胡椒でお召し上がりください。
熊肉の沢煮は天然熊肉をしゃぶしゃぶ仕立てにして、柔らかな風味の出汁でお召し上がりいただきます。
ロース肉ぼたん鍋は煮込めば煮込むほど赤身の部分がほどける柔らかさ、その脂は秘伝の味噌出汁に溶け出し、円やかな風味の最高の出汁に仕上がります。

近又ではそんな希少な松茸を使用した
松茸フルコース会席を10月限定で今年も販売させていただきます。

焼き松茸・松茸ご飯などはもちろんのこと、
近又のオリジナル料理を交えて全てのメニューに松茸を取り入れました。
