Matcha Garden Dessert Buffet
Our signature bowl, approximately one meter in diameter, makes its debut this time with a design inspired by a Japanese Garden. Taking center stage within the bowl is a DRY BONSAI. As a form of regenerative art that breathes new life into once-withered bonsai, it has garnered attention both domestically and internationally. It deeply resonates with the philosophy of The Westin Yokohama, which holds Green Key certification and places great importance on sustainable initiatives.
Centered around the DRY BONSAI, we have arranged desserts made with generous amounts of matcha to create a Japanese garden unique to Pacific Table. While the presentation is visually stunning, we have also paid meticulous attention to the flavor of each individual dish.
In May, as we welcome the new tea season, we invite you to immerse yourself in a world of matcha that engages all five senses—accented by the refreshing bitterness and rich flavor of matcha—while enveloped in the gentle air of early summer.
