The Okazaki area of Kyoto is known as one of Kyoto's most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, featuring the red weeping cherry blossoms at Heian Shrine and the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms blooming along the Lake Biwa Canal.

Enjoy the flavors of spring while taking in the cherry blossom-filled scenery of the shrine gardens.
