Kobe Municipal Suma Rikyu Park, developed on the former site of the imperial villa “Muko Rikyu” and opened in 1967, is home to a stunning rose display. In autumn about 180 varieties and roughly 4,000 rose shrubs come into bloom. This plan includes a guided walking tour with commentary on the culture and history surrounding the roses, followed by lunch. Enjoy a special course menu available only with this plan.

Dates: November 3, 2025 (Mon, holiday); November 5 (Wed); November 6 (Thu); November 12 (Wed)

- Member benefit: a glass of sparkling per guest
- Admission ticket to Suma Rikyu Park (須磨離宮公園)
- Guided tour of Suma Rikyu Park led by park staff
(Guidance will include the rose varieties in the garden, history, and other topics.)

Schedule for the day:
11:00 — Check-in at Kobe Geihinkan
11:15 — Transfer to Suma Rikyu Park
11:30 — Guided tour of the rose garden, followed by free time for self-guided exploration
13:00 — Transfer from the park back to Kobe Geihinkan
13:30 — Meal service begins

Amuse-bouche — A small pre-meal delight
Hors d'oeuvre — Seared cutlassfish arranged with a rose-colored presentation, served with shiitake mousse
Soup — Pumpkin potage finished with a Kobe black tea cappuccino-style foam
Fish course — Nut-and-raisin crusted salmon en croûte, finished with a black pepper accent
Meat course — Grilled wagyu chuck roast with a red wine and rose sauce
Dessert — Jonathan apple tarte fine with rose ice cream
