Experience cooking Washoku, an UNESCO intangible cultural heritage special food tradition
cultivated in Japan from the executive chef of “Miyagaqwacho Suiren”.
Cook by yourself and enjoy a gorgeous lunch along with recommended sake.

Learn how to make dashi broth, rice, miso soup and sushi; the basics
of Japanese meal and enjoy the lunch made all by yourself!
1.Date
Every Tues, Thurs and Sat 11:00am ～1:30pm (Reservation needed in advance)
2.Place: Kyoto Japanese Food Studio
Nihontuushinkiki buiding 6F 501 Minami-machi, Aburakouji Higashi-iru,
Kizuyabashi-doori, Shimogyouku, Kyoto City 〒600-8232
3.Fee: ¥16,500 per person (tax included)
With an interpreter guide (English), additional ¥7,700 per person will be needed(tax included)
*The fee includes the cooking ingredients and the material cost.
*We have 3 kinds of sake ready for you that goes with the dishes at extra charge.
4.Class procedure:
①Learn how to make delicious authentic dashi broth. Taste and compare different kinds of dashi.
②Learn making miso soup with the savory dashi.
③Learn cooking perfect rice.
④Learn how to make sushi vinegar.
⑤Learn how to make nigirizushi. (Seasonal fish, sea urchin, tuna etc.)
⑥Learn how to make Sushi Rolls ( Sushi rolls, Inside-out rolls, Mackerel rolls etc.)
⑦Lunch Time!

The minimum number of participants will be 2 people. Cancellation 1 week in advance: 100% Children must be 10 years old or older to participate. Participation by children under the age of 9 is not permitted. If you would like to rent it out, please indicate so. (Participation fees are negotiable)
