Yu Taniguchi
Co-Founder and CEO
After working in CyberSource Japan (a wholly-owned subsidiary of VISA) in 2007 and business administration planning for Piku Media (formerly English OK) in 2010, Yu founded TableCheck as CEO in 2011.

John Shields
Co-Founder and CTO
After obtaining a degree in B.S. in Electrical Engineering With Honors at Brown University in the United States, John worked at Nomura Securities Japan (formerly Lehman Brothers Japan) as Vice President in Equities Algorithmic Trading before joining TableCheck as CTO and Co-Founder in 2013.

Kiyoshi "Kevin" Takegami
Executive Officer, Global Head of Sales
Kevin holds a degree from Rikkyo University. He worked as a sales manager for MICROS-Fidelio Japan where he managed top global hotel clients and was awarded "Top Salesperson" for five years in a row. Next, he became a sales manager at Ubitus, Inc. where he led the global expansion of online game sales before joining TableCheck in 2015 as Head of Sales.

Takashi Noda
Executive Officer, Head of Administration Division
Takashi Noda is a graduate of Keio University and has obtained his MBA from Bond University in Australia. A certified Social Insurance Labor Consultant / USCPA, Takashi worked at Otsuka Pharmaceutical and Otsuka Holdings as a Medical Representative (MR), as well as in HR, Marketing, Accounting, and Finance, serving as a director and auditor for subsidiaries. He also oversaw the entire management department at Mimaki USA Inc. in Georgia, USA. He joined TableCheck in 2023.

Hiroto Yagi
Head of Operational Excellence Division
He graduated with a degree from the Department of Science, at International Christian University. Joined General Electric (GE) as a new graduate, where he experienced leadership programs in finance and internal auditing across eight countries, including the US headquarters. Upon returning to Japan, he assumed roles as Country Manager at a GE subsidiary and CFO of APAC. Subsequently, he held strategic business positions, COO, and director roles at several companies including Adidas and OYO. In 2024, he joined TableCheck to deliver innovative services based on the belief that "the best dining experiences bring happiness to people."

Keita Ogawa
Head of Consulting
Keita is an avid hill-climb bike racer, and prides himself of being able to ride any kind of bike, from a mountain bike to a Granny-style bike. After working for a hotel company, Keita became a Sales Manager of MICROS-Fidelio Japan, where he managed global hotel clients. He joined TableCheck in 2016 as a support specialist.

Sonosuke Mikuchi
Head of President's Office
He is currently studying at Kyoto University and is one of the co-founders of Gaiax Co., Ltd. After his experience in IT services, he launched a private lodging reservation service at Hyakusenrenma Co., Ltd. and published his book "The Reality of Private Lodging Business". He has served as the head of new business development at Persol Career and other companies, contributing to the creation of a corporate culture that generates new businesses. He is currently working on management strategy in the President's office of TableCheck.

Koji Arie
Head of Marketing
After graduating from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Engineering, Koji began his career at NHK, engaging in the production of television programs, conducting marketing research, and leading digital initiatives. He later transitioned to Amazon Japan, where he spearheaded social media marketing strategies for Prime Video.
He holds a Master's in International Business Administration from the University of Tsukuba and had the privilege of serving as a visiting scientist at the MIT Media Lab in 2018. Currently, he contributes as a lecturer at GLOBIS and advises on public relations for the Japan Karatedo Federation.

Head of Product
Aude has more than 15 years of experience in Product Management globally, spanning industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, and Hospitality. She joined TableCheck in 2022 as Head of Product. She's passionate about food and travel.

Valerio Donati
VP of Engineering
Before joining TableCheck in February 2024, Valerio had a diverse and impactful career in the tech industry. Starting as a consultant in Accenture, he took on leadership roles in several companies, including Klarna and PayPal. Originally from Milan, Italy, he has also lived and worked in Berlin, Barcelona, and now Tokyo, bringing a global perspective to his work.

Junichi Kuriya
Head of Listing Preparation
Junichi has worked Systems & Operation administration at Fuji (Mizuho) Bank from 1991 to 2001 as VP of trust business at its NY subsidiary. From 2000 to 2007, he was in charge of IPO preparation at VeriSign, Japan before becoming chief of IR and FP&A after listed. From 2007-2016, Junichi was working on business development at M-out, the principal investment company, MD followed by his stint as CFO at LivingStyle, a Furniture AR simulation service company from 2016 to 2018. He joined TableCheck as Director of Listing preparation in 2018.

Yukari Oka
Head of Business Operation and FP&A
Yukari has an Associate Degree in Accounting and Economics in SBCC (California), USCPA. She has six years of experience as a Finance Manager in a listed foreign company and worked in Investor Relations and Public Relations in a listed Japanese company while managing their overseas subsidiary. She joined TableCheck in 2021.

Yosuke Masu
Head of Human Resources
He started his career as an engineer and has experience in help desk, service development, and management of engineers, and then made a unique career change to HR. As a human resources person, he has supported management at foreign-affiliated companies as an HR resources business partner, such as offshoring of service departments, integration of multiple companies, organizational development, talent management, and promotion of DE&I. He joined TableCheck as the head of human resources in 2023.

Naohide Shiroyama
Head of Legal
Naohide Shiroyama graduated from Nara High School and Kobe University. During his university years, he gained valuable experience in sales at an advertising magazine company in Sydney. After completing his degree, he worked at an independent trading company, where he was responsible for legal affairs and credit screening. Later, as Director of Legal Affairs at OTA VELTRA, he played a crucial role in the company's IPO. His responsibilities included risk management, compliance, secretarial duties for general shareholders' meetings and board of directors meetings. In 2024, he joined TableCheck, drawn by the company's vision of "connecting restaurants and guests around the world to provide the best dining experience." Naohide's hobbies include food, travel, and running.

Shigeaki Kawamura
Head of Internal Control and Assistant to the Head of Administration Division
Shigeaki Kawamura is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). After graduating from Doshisha University, he began his career in sales at a travel agency. He later obtained an MBA in the United States. Upon returning to Japan, Shigeaki worked at a pharmaceutical company, gaining experience in accounting, project management, internal auditing, and internal controls, including an overseas assignment. He subsequently held roles in auditing, strategic planning, and affiliate management across several companies before joining TableCheck in 2024. With over 20 years of tennis experience, Shigeaki also enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and fishing.

Daniel was previously the Sales Director of Agilysys Singapore. He has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and distribution channel. He joined TableCheck Singapore in 2018 as the representative of the branch office.

Regional Director of Sales & Operation, Greater China and Korea
Ken was previously from 3M Singapore responsible for sales in brands like Post-it & Scotch. His past experience are mainly from the hospitality industry and F&B sector.
