A traditional cream tea with over 1,000 years of history, said to have originated in Devon, England, from the bonds formed between the people who supported the revival of monasteries.

When we breathed new life into this building—once used as a monastery—the warm support of local residents was invaluable. In gratitude, we offer freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and jam, fragrant tea, and coffee—the first foreign brew that Nagasaki welcomed to Japan.
