This is an experiential program where you can learn table manners while enjoying a French lunch made with local ingredients in a historic cultural asset space.
You will have a fun lecture on the basics of table manners, such as how to use knives and forks and how to handle napkins, as well as useful little tips that will come in handy.
The homey atmosphere makes it easy for first-timers to feel at ease, and you are welcome to come alone, as well as with friends! On Sundays, the program is aimed at families, so parents and children can have fun learning together.

After enjoying a locally sourced dinner at LE UN, join a guided tour where you can experience practicing the festival drum music (ohayashi).
You will learn about local life and the history of festivals, and experience the culture of Iga-Ueno with all your senses. While being served wagashi (Japanese sweets) and tea, you will have the opportunity to meet local residents and feel the living tradition up close.
