After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Asia’s 50 Best restaurants have returned to the scene with in-person celebrations happening simultaneously in India, Bangkok, Singapore/China, Macau, and Tokyo.

During the March 29 awards ceremony, Tokyo’s Den has been crowned the Best Restaurant in Asia. It’s the first time a Tokyo restaurant has been named the best restaurant in the region.

It was followed by Bangkok’s Sorn at no. 2, which has risen 9 spots from being no 11 in 2021. Led by chef-proprietor Supaksorn ‘Ice’ Jongsiri, Sorn has been consistently picking up awards since it opened in 2018 and also earned two-Michelin stars in 2020.

Following Sorn is Florilege, another restaurant in Tokyo helmed by famed Chef Hiroyasu Kawate, which takes the third spot as Asia’s 50 Best. Both Sorn and Florilège use TableCheck to ensure that they deliver only award-winning guest experiences to their clientele.

Sorn uses TableCheck not only to power its bookings once a month but also when they want to connect and inform guests about their marketing promotions.

It is beyond our expectations and we are extremely appreciative to be in the 2nd ranking of Asia’s 50 best. Thank you so much to all of you who are always supporting us, and deepest thanks to @theworlds50best for all of the opportunities, especially, for allowing us to enhance and present Thai food in Thai authentic flavor to guests from all over the world.

To manage tables seamlessly in their restaurant, Florilège uses TableCheck. They also use Contactless Pay in combination with TableCheck's guest recognition CTI feature that helps them personalize their interactions with their guests even before they arrive at their restaurant.

First of all, thanks to the staff who put up with the hard work. Thank you to our customers for their overwhelming support. Thank you to everyone who supported us with great food. Thank you to all the vendors that are helping us keep Florilège running. And thank you to all my friends and family around the world for always supporting me. Nothing but gratitude for this 3rd rank.
