Secchu Yokota offers modern wayou secchu (“Japan and western” “coming together of ideas”) cuisine reflecting the Chef Yokota's unique family & culinary backgrounds and with a focus on seasonal tempura. Our entire restaurant consists of only 6 seats facing the open kitchen, offering a 2-hour omakase (Chef's choice prefix menu) at two/three fixed seating times (Wed-Sun; closed Mon-Tue).

Due to limited seating, we accept reservations for 2 guests minimum; 6 maximum. Reservations are taken online (for future dates only), up to 14 days in advance. (e.g. to make a reservation for 4/15 5:30pm seating, the system will allow selection after 5:30pm ET on 4/1.)

Please note:
* If the menu selection button is not visible, or an error message bar shows up at the top or bottom of your screen, your desired seating is already taken or not yet available to select.

*Please contact us if you experience any issues with the online system and refreshing your browser does not solve the issue (Chrome is recommended).

* Once the online reservation is finalized, you will receive a confirmation 1) immediately after the booking and 2) one day prior to your booked date.

* If you do not receive a confirmation email or text immediately after placing your reservation, the online booking may have been unsuccessful (most often, this occurs when the credit card you enter blocks the deposit transaction for security measures - even if you temporarily see a pending deposit reflected on your account). Please email us and/or call us to confirm so that we can further assist.

Our standard omakase (chef’s choice) menu is offered at $145 per guest. The 2-hour course consists of an appetizer plate, an array of seasonal tempura, and conclusion dish followed by dessert.

Reservations can be made online up to 14 days in advance (and up to 11 pm ET the day before your desired date) with a valid credit card.* The total omakase fee for the number of guests will be held (as "pending") on the credit card, however will only be applied in case of cancellations outside of our policy and will otherwise be released at the time of dining (cannot be applied to the actual dining charges).

* PLEASE NOTE: If you do not receive an email or text confirmation immediately after booking, your reservation may not have been accepted and finalized in the system.

Effective 9/23, 2022, our omakase (chef’s choice) menu with wagyu option will be offered at $175 per guest. (We apologize for the great inconvenience with the price change; in order to sustain our business amongst the various global price increases, we greatly appreciate your understanding and support.) The 2-hour course consists of an appetizer plate, an array of seasonal tempura, and Miyazaki A5 wagyu 5 o.z. steak as the conclusion dish, followed by dessert.

If you or your guest(s) have visited us before under a different reservation name, please feel free to list the previous reservation name. (Whenever possible, we take it into account when considering the menu.)
[ALLERGIES, FOOD RESTRICTIONS]
Kindly confirm with your guests and indicate food allergies OR dietary restrictions for each guest (example - Guest 1 with shrimp allergy and no beef; Guest 2 dairy allergy (including butter) and no wasabi; Guest 3 cannot eat raw seafood (seared ok), etc).

Tempura items are prepared in one tempura pot/oil, and all dishes are prepared in the same kitchen with limited space. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate gluten allergy, severe seafood/soy/egg/sesame allergy, or requests for no fish/seafood dashi (broth); vegetarian; non-seafood only; non-vegetable only menu. We cannot guarantee accommodation for dietary requests unconfirmed in advance of the reservation date.
[DOOR OPEN TIME]
Kindly inform your guests that our doors open at 3:00PM, 5:30PM, and 8:00PM for the three seating times. We apologize for not being able to accommodate earlier arrival inside.

[ARRIVAL TIME]
Kindly inform your guests to arrive by 15 minutes past the respective seating times (arrive by 3:15PM, 5:45PM, and 8:15PM). We wait for all groups to arrive and aim to start/proceed for all guests together shortly after. The course is designed to finish within 2:15 hours from the reserved seating time and the end time unfortunately cannot be extended.

[PRE-ASSIGNED SEATING]
Our entire restaurant consists of only 6 seats, facing the open kitchen. ALL GUESTS ARE SEATED IN FRONT OF AND SERVED BY CHEF YOKOTA. We preassign your group's seating at the time of your online reservation.
