【フェーヴとは】
フランス語でソラ豆のことです。ソラ豆は胎児の形をしているということで古代から命のシンボルとして扱われていました。
もともと乾燥した豆を使っていたのでそう呼ばれていますが今では陶器製のチャームが使われています。

今年はラトリエ ドゥ ジョエル・ロブション2013年創業当時より提供する、スペシャリテの肉料理「うずらにフォアグラを詰めキャラメリゼ　ポテトピュレと共に」を模ったオリジナルフェーブをご用意しました。
裏面には「2026年」と印字されております。

This pie is made with a generous amount of rare Tahitian vanilla and an almond dough sandwiched between rich cultured butter pie crusts.

It is said that the winner of each pie will be crowned king or queen, blessed by everyone, and blessed with good fortune for the year.
(To prevent accidental ingestion, we serve the pie separately and instead hide an almond inside.)

[What is a fève?]
The word fève is French for broad bean. Because of its fetus-like shape, broad beans have been a symbol of life since ancient times.
Originally, the name came from dried beans, but nowadays, ceramic charms are used.

This year, we are offering an original fève inspired by L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon's specialty meat dish, "Quail stuffed with foie gras and caramelized potato puree," which has been served since the restaurant's founding in 2013.
The back is printed with "2026."

Original fèves are available in limited quantities. Once the limited number is reached, a replacement fève will be provided.
